Sprucing Up Your Curb AppealPosted on 08/06/15
The majority of people shopping for homes for sale in Destin begin the process online. You know what that means: they’re looking at pictures. Good photos and curb appeal will help to entice buyers to check out your home in person so it is important you make a good first impression.
We know what you’re thinking: landscaping is expensive. True, but we have found a few fixes that can be done quickly and for a fraction of the price.
FRONT DOOR: The entry way is a huge focal point for potential buyers. It is one of the first things that they see. An easy way to jazz this area up is to wipe the door down and update the color with some paint.
PATCH UP THE GRASS: Pets, weather and just plain old walking can take a toll on your yard’s grass. Do yourself a favor and cut out the dead spots and replace with some fresh sod.
PLANTERS: Like grass on its last leg, poorly maintained planters and flower beds can be a big letdown to potential buyers. Pull weeds, add some mulch and plant some fresh flowers to show that you care.
