Holiday Fun Along the Emerald CoastPosted on 11/29/13
The holidays are a lovely time to own a home or purchase real estate on the Emerald Coast. You will be here just in time to enjoy all of the great holiday activities, family fun and terrific winter weather. And, if you are from up North, don’t worry; many of your cold weather traditions live on, despite our sunny skies.
So, what cold weather traditions can you engage in when you move to Northwest Florida. Well, while we may not have a white Christmas, you can still enjoy activities such as ice skating! Make your way to Baytowne Wharf in South Walton to lace up your skates and hit the ice. The rink will be open until February 2, 2014 and ice time is just $11 for one and a half hours, which includes your skate rental.
Santa will also be coming to town very soon. He will make his way to town during the annual Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade on Eglin Parkway Monday, December 2, 2013. Bring the kids to Harborwalk Village every weekend beginning December 7, 2013 so they can have their annual meet and greet with the big man in red. Each visitor will receive a special treat.
