Fall in Love with the Gulf CoastPosted on 09/06/13
If you’re considering a move or visit to the Gulf Coast of Florida, there is no better time than the fall. This is the time of year when our beaches are at their best, not to mention you will get to experience some of our best annual festivals and events.
Things never really completely cool off here on the beaches of Northwest Florida. While temperatures might begin to dip in late October, the activities and adventures stay hot all year long. It’s one of the best aspects of owning a home in Florida. So, what can you expect to find this fall? Well, first off, great weather. Things will cool off just enough to allow for brilliant blue skies to enjoy while on the sand or out boating our emerald waters. Speaking of boating, the biggest Destin event of the year takes place in October. The annual seafood festival will kick off the Destin Fishing Rodeo on October 1, 2013 and it is one delicious time.
Oh, and if you happen to be big into fishing, you definitely won’t want to miss the rodeo this year as Red Snapper has been cleared to fish from October 1-21, 2013. Don’t miss all the live music, family fun and great weather along our coast this fall!
